At Kid Kountry, our goal is to provide an environment that is happy, loving, and inviting. Our students will stay motivated by engaging them in various hands on activities that serve as a creative outlet to help them learn how to express themselves individually, while preparing them academically. We will play, read, garden, cook, learn, have fun, and be a family!
We are located in the New Berlin area, which is a centralized location between La Vernia, Seguin, and Marion School Districts.

Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm (Mon-Fri)
We have our own calendar that follows the major holidays alongside LVISD

Meet the Teachers
Shannon Coleman
Hello! My name is Shannon Coleman! I grew up in La Vernia and attended school here from K-12th grade! I earned a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwest Texas State University in 2002. I also received a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M San Antonio in 2020. I have had the pleasure of teaching at the La Vernia Primary School for the past 19 years and I LOVED every minute of it. I have two children that also attend La Vernia. My daughter Brylee graduated from La Vernia High School in 2024 and is now going to college to earn a degree in Dental Hygiene. Bryson is a Sophomore at La Vernia High School. He loves all sports and keeps us very busy. I have been married to my husband Ronnie for 21 years. He works at CPS Energy in San Antonio. We love our sweet kiddos and look forward to seeing them each year.
Tracey Pierce
Hello! My name is Tracey Pierce! Along with Shannon, I am a La Vernia alumni. After graduating from LV, I attended Tarleton State University, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, certified in Early Childhood Education (Pre-K/K), with a minor in Elementary Physical Education, and Reading Specialization. I have classroom experience in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 4th, 5th, and 6th Grades, as well as coaching experience in middle school volleyball, basketball, track, and high school tennis. I have three boys, Braden, Carsen, and Westen, who all attend La Vernia High School, and my husband, Chad, who also teaches and coaches at the Middle School. It is a privilege and honor to welcome our new students, and I can’t wait to get to know them!
